Job Description
Job Summary:
The Installation and Maintenance Technician carries out the physical installation, servicing and repair of the department’s speciality systems, including termite reticulation and baiting systems, bird proofing, fly control units, monitoring equipment and fumigation apparatus.
Key Responsibilities:
- An experienced, organized and proactive supervisor who can manage two teams, coordinate daily site operations, maintain service quality and communicate confidently with the client.
- The post delivers work that is structural, long-lived and warranted, where installation quality determines whether the system performs for its design life or fails expensively.
- It also maintains the department’s application and monitoring equipment, keeping it serviceable, calibrated and safe.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Secondary school leaving certificate. Trade certificate in a relevant discipline (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical or construction) is the preferred route into this post.
- Recognized pest control operator training. Certification in termite systems installation.
- Working at height and confined space training required. First aid certification is advisable.
- Driving License (Class 2)
