Job Summary

Upgrade desktop and network hardware and software components, coordinate Local Area Network activities and provide users with network software and hardware support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out routine hardware and software maintenance of all ICT equipment.
• Install and configure new ICT equipment & software.
• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain on file servers – network users and printers directory structures, security and network printing rights,
• Administer and monitor the network, as required.
• Keep system information up-to-date in a network log & system file.
• Load and update software applications as required
• Maintain a back-up of all files, system security and rights.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum ‘A’ Level standard of education with fair fluency in English.
• Diploma in Computing or other similar qualification preferable.

Experience

• Relevant work experience an advantage but NOT a requirement.

Other Skills & Requirements

• Strong technical & organizational skills with a good safety sense.
• Should be patient, a quick thinker and have good people skills.
