Job Description
Role Overview
Support the Ministry in ensuring compliance with environmental and agriculture-related laws, providing expert legal advice, and representing its interests in legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review legal documents and cases.
- Provide legal training and support to staff.
- Maintain databases of laws, cases, and Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs).

Job Requirement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
- Experience in or understanding of the environment/agriculture sector preferred.
- Familiarity with Seychelles legal frameworks or SIDS contexts is an advantage.
Competencies & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Expertise in legal analysis and document preparation.
