Job Description
Job Title: Parts Sales cum Store Associate
About the Role
Drive and promote the sales of parts for the business. Promoting the company to both potential and existing clients.  Assist Store-In-Charge with all Store operations including issuing and receiving, coordinating stock, documenting Store transactions, maintaining records and overseeing proper storage of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting customer to find the goods and products they are looking for.
- Prepare customer quotations and maximize sales conversions with regular customer contact.
- Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions.
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods and reconcile with packing lists/purchase orders
- Assist Store-in-Charge with the receipt and delivery of goods.
- Monitor consignment stock based on consumption.
- Arrange the proper return and replacement/repair of defective items under warranty, or wrongly ordered or delivered item/s in coordination with the Store Supervisor.
- Keeping the Parts Store organized, labeled according to consignment stock details.
- Liaise with Parts Showroom on goods returned by customers for verification, ensuring that the proper documents are completed correctly.
- Verify and issue goods to customers as per delivery notes and record serial/reference numbers where applicable.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, repairs and surplus.
- Implement the First in First out (FIFO) method of issuing goods.
- Conduct monthly physical stock count (random and/or complete) and report accordingly.
- Be involved in stock control and management.
- Read catalogs or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- SIT Graduates with Advance Certificate in Motor Vehicle or Marine Mechanic
- Sales and Store related background
- Computer literacy – Experience in Microsoft Office Basics
