Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing and optimizing production planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory control to ensure optimal production flow and on-time delivery.

Analyze actual and forecast demand, capacity, and material availability to create efficient production plans.

Maintain accurate inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and reduce excess-obsolete inventory.

Contribute to process optimization to increase service level.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency
• Manage production planning based on actual and forecast demand
• Maintain the IOT Data base to ensure data accuracy at all time
• Ensure data is maintained in timely manner in all working files, SAP, Wise-up and Macola
• Review and edit production planning and inventory control procedures and work instructions
• Develop innovative tools in collaboration with IT department to improve process and efficiency
• Monitor inventory movement, review stock levels, and prepare inventory reports
• Conduct root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Conduct root-cause analysis for high CTP deviation and implement corrective actions
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) and dashboard for the department
• Manage new product development, materials change of status and obsolescence monitoring for all categories of materials
• Communicate to central planning to validate draft demand forecast and on the execution of the demand forecast
• Ensure the respect of the production planning defined timeline for all activities
• Support the production planning supervisor and the production officers in the execution of the material production scheduling, the material resource planning and inventory control and the new product development processes

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degre either in operations or business studies field
• Over 10 years of experience in production planning, MRP, material planning, and inventory management
• Strong skills in inventory accuracy, and reconciliation
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and generating planning reports – Experience in SAP is a plus
• Strong in Excel and data base management
• Good communication, organization and project management skills
• Attention to details and data analysis
