Prison Officer (Cook)

Department: Supply and Logistics Department

Location: Montagne Posée Prison (Main kitchen)

Benefits

Salary Band: B3–B4 (plus applicable allowances as per the Scheme of Service)

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in food preparation and cooking;
• Must be literate to ensure adherence to planned menus and food preparation guidelines;
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff regarding production and service requirements;
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays;
• Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or a related field.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in a disciplined and structured environment;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
• High level of reliability and integrity;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
