Job Description

• Field role for a remote research base located in Cap Ternay, Mahe.
• Responsible for leading the ‘Coastal Science’ program of a research base.
• Responsible for leading coastal science training.
• Volunteer scheduling and management.
• Development and implementation of new coastal sciences.
• Reporting to the onsite management team.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Science or experience in a relevant field.
• Powerboat Level 2 licence or higher and boat handling experience.
• Manual drivers licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Documents.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Qualification.
• Advance Open Water or higher qualification.

Desired Qualifications

• Volunteer management experience.
• Degree in Environmental Science or experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in living in a remote location with minimal supervision.
