Job Description
Job Summary:
The Property Audit Inspector is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of properties to ensure that the facilities are up to standard and all faults noted with correction plans. The role involves evaluating the physical condition of buildings, identifying maintenance needs, ensuring standards are met, and preparing detailed audit reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Inspections:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Evaluate the condition of the building structure, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Identify and document any needed repairs.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed inspection reports that outline findings, including photographs and recommendations for corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and audits for future reference.
- Communicate inspection results to property owners, management, and relevant authorities.
Risk Assessment:
- Assess potential risks associated with property conditions and recommend preventive measures.
- Advise on necessary improvements to minimize risks and enhance property safety.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with property managers and coordinate with, maintenance teams, and contractors to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in property inspection, building maintenance, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
