A Restaurant Cook is required to join the Bravo Restaurant culinary team. The successful candidate will support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cost control, and service delivery while maintaining the restaurant’s quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce food items in accordance with approved recipes, menus, and production sheets.
- Carry out general mise-en-place duties including portion control, filleting, deboning, and accurate weighing of products to meet food cost targets.
- Supervise and oversee all phases of meal production to ensure correct quality, quantity, and timely preparation.
- Assist during lunch and dinner service, including working on the pass during busy periods.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- Assist the Head Chef with cost control by minimizing waste, maintaining portion standards, and following preparation procedures.
- Assist with menu planning, function preparation, and kitchen organization.
- Review designated kitchen areas including storerooms, provision areas, and food & beverage outlets.
- Prepare end-of-shift or weekly reports as required, including food control, staff control, and sales information.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors and management.
- Support the efficient and profitable operation of the restaurant while maintaining company standards and reputation.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during peak service periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work during operational hours, including weekends and public holidays.
