Purpose

The Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Lead is responsible for leading the Seychelles S&OP process and translating commercial demand into one aligned, feasible, and financially informed demand and supply plan. The role establishes the monthly planning rhythm across demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP, ensuring that decisions, trade-offs, risks, and actions are clearly documented and followed through.

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics, the incumbent improves forecast quality, balances demand with capacity and inventory, highlights constraints and opportunities, and supports timely decisions that protect customer service, stock availability, working capital, and business performance. The role also drives planning discipline, master data quality, process improvement, and alignment with Phoenix Beverages Group planning standards.

Top Accountabilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle – demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP
• Own the quality and integrity of the market demand plan; challenge commercial assumptions using data, trends, and market intelligence
• Translate the demand plan into supply, production, procurement, and logistics requirements
• Monitor stock availability, inventory coverage, SLOB exposure, and working capital impact
• Align Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics to one plan
• Prepare decision packs, dashboards, and KPI scorecards for senior management
• Identify demand, supply, and capacity risks early and develop contingency plans
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data quality, and cross-functional ways of working

Job Requirements

Qualifications + Experience

• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• 7–10 years’ progressive experience in demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP
• At least 3 years leading S&OP or integrated business planning cycles – FMCG, beverages, or manufacturing preferred
• Proven track record improving forecast accuracy and facilitating senior management decision-making
• Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain or Business (preferred)
• APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or IBF certification (preferred)
