LOCATION: La Digue
Job Description
Manage the daily operations of the boutique, including product availability and pricing.
Duties
- Ensure that the boutique runs smoothly and effectively.
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
- Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
- Keep records of expenditure, sales figures
- Evaluate the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Investigate market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
- Serves customers by helping them select products.
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
- Ensure high levels of consumer satisfaction by providing superior sales service
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Implement measures to avoid stock damages and wastage.
- Monitor stocks and product displays
- Maintain presentable appearance of the boutique.
- Address customers’ requests, comments, and complaints.
- Any other related duties that may be assigned

EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE):
- Post Secondary level of education
 EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years related working experience
TRAINING SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Working knowledge of market and consumer requirements and dynamics
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency of sales principles and customer service practice
- Good planning and organizational skills
 PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Able to work under pressure,
- Pleasant personality,
- Punctual/reliable,
- Ability to multi-task
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday – from 10am to 6pm
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Flexible working arrangements. Can be requested to work outside normal working hours and days as per exigencies of duties.
