Job Description
Job Summary
The Security & Field Logistics Officer ensures regulatory compliance, operational continuity, and safe field execution by managing weapons movements and supporting all port-related logistics requiring on-ground supervision. The role is responsible for the secure embarkation and disembarkation of arms and ammunition in accordance with national police and defense regulations, including maintaining armory documentation and coordinating all required permits with Seychelles authorities. Additionally, the officer oversees field logistics operations by coordinating customs appointments, supervising port activities, and providing on-site support for delivery, shipment, and clearance processes to ensure efficient and compliant movement of personnel and equipment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in logistics, shipping or security operations
- Valid Driving License (2,4) with minimum 2 years driving experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication in both English/French and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination abilities.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure while consistently achieving objectives.
- Physically fit and comfortable going onboard vessels and in port areas.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to details.
