Senior Child Support Coordinator
Job Description
Job Particulars:
To provide strategic, operational, and professional leadership to the Child Care Section of President’s Village, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, safe, nurturing, and child-centered residential care service. The Principal Officer oversees all care staff, ensures compliance with national policies, children’s care home and safeguarding standards, and drives continuous improvement in the well-being, development, protection, and reintegration of children aged 0–18 years living in care.
Job Requirements
Required qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Child & Youth Care or a related field plus 3 year’s experience of working with vulnerable children, behavioural challenges, trauma, and family systems.
- Diploma in Social Work, Education, Child & Youth Care or a related field plus 5 year’s experience of working with vulnerable children, behavioural challenges, trauma, and family systems.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supervision or team leadership.
- Additional training in safeguarding, residential care, child protection, or management is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Based at President’s Village residential care home.
- Requires shift flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
- High-demand environment involving exposure to emotional situations and behavioural challenges.
