Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and analysing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other relevant reports to identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and related financial crimes. The role involves conducting advanced financial intelligence analysis, preparing high-quality intelligence reports, supporting investigations, providing guidance to analysts, and ensuring that intelligence disseminated to competent authorities is accurate, credible, and actionable. The Senior Analyst also plays a key role in supervising analytical activities, reviewing reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting the overall operational effectiveness of the Financial Intelligence Unit.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Forensic Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- AML/Compliance qualifications would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in financial analysis, intelligence analysis, compliance, investigations, or a related field
- Knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF frameworks and financial crime risks
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Leadership, team management and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
