Job Description

• Management role for a remote research base located in Cap Ternay, Mahe.
• Assisting the Program Manager in daily operations and long term planning.
• Managing scheduling and daily running of the program.
• Volunteer scheduling and management.
• Assisting with partner relationship management.
• Assisting the science team with the project’s scientific goals.
• Reporting to the onsite Program Manager.
• Will be required to meet with partners and must have a valid drivers licence.

Job Requirements

• Management experience 3+ years.
• Volunteer management experience 3+ years.
• Powerboat Level 2 licence (or higher) and boat handling experience.
• Manual drivers licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Documents.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Qualification.
• PADI Divemaster or higher qualification.

Desired Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in counselling.
• Experience in living in a remote location with minimal supervision.
• PADI Instructor.
