Job Description
The Systems Support Officer will provide technical support for the Seychelles Police Force’s ICT systems, equipment and users. The successful candidate will assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer hardware and software, troubleshoot technical and network issues, support user access and contribute to the reliability and security of the Force’s ICT infrastructure.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong ICT troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Is knowledgeable in computer hardware, software, networks and operating systems
- Demonstrates good communication and customer-service skills
- Understands the importance of cybersecurity and confidentiality; and
- Is organized, responsive and able to work effectively as part of a team
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Network Administration or another closely related field.
- Relevant ICT certifications and practical experience in technical support, networking or systems administration will be an advantage.
