Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Remotely troubleshoot and resolve customer faults that cannot be fixed by the call centre or field technicians.
• Guide field technicians remotely during installations or fault repairs (provisioning checks, configuration verification, diagnostic commands, etc.)
• Perform remote provisioning and configuration changes (ONT/ONU, EMTA, set-top boxes, routers, VoIP accounts, IPTV profiles, bandwidth profiles, etc.)
• Conduct occasional on-site visits only when remote resolution is not possible.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the company’s internal LAN, Wi-Fi, printers, desktops, IP phones, and meeting-room systems.
• Set up new employee accounts, laptops, and access rights.
• Manage office network equipment (switches, access points, firewalls)
• Log every ticket/escalation accurately with detailed notes and resolution steps.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours escalations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years in ISP technical support or in similar role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of GPON / FTTH provisioning and troubleshooting (ONT, OLT profiles, VLANs)
• Experience with IPTV platforms (multicast, IGMP, set-top box provisioning)
• Solid understanding of VoIP (SIP, MGCP, EMTA provisioning, RTP, QoS)
• Good knowledge of IP networking (subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls)
• Basic Windows/Linux server administration and office IT support (Active Directory, printers, Wi-Fi)
• Relevant certifications are an advantage (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Mikrotik MTCNA, FTTH/GPON certifications, etc.)
• Driving license with at least 2+ years of driving experience.
