Location: Mahe, Port Launay, Ephelia Boat House.
Job Description
As Watersports Attendant, your primary duties and responsibilities, amongst others, shall be to:
- Ensure all watersports equipment are cleaned daily (sails, trailer, ropes and other accessories).
- Display daily all watersports equipment on beach in a state ready for immediate use.
- Ensure all watersports equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Deliver professional and courteous service to guests at all times.
- Assist and escort the clients on the watersport activities and boat charter.
- Promote all aspects of watersports/boating/diving activities to clients.
- Assist skipper with excursions, game fishing, snorkeling trips including boarding of clients and assisting clients throughout duration of charter.
- Assist skipper with daily maintenance and cleaning of boat(s). After each outing boat(s) to be washed down with fresh water, including interior & exterior, stainless steel polished, rust patches removed and treated, fresh water tank filled etc
- Assist skipper with mooring of boat(s), permanent anchoring & marker buoy facility, re-fuelling and other duties to ensure safety of boat at all times.
- Assist with general maintenance of boats, engines and all other watersports equipment.
- Attend courses organized by boathouse and/or Ephelia Resort.
- Attend meetings held by Boat House Management (BHM) and Watersports Management (WSM).
