Position: Cards Service Clerk (Cards Operations Processing)
Responsible to: Head of Cards Service
Job Description
Job Summary:
Supporting the department’s Operational procedures and maintaining a high level of customer service in compliance with Bank Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Cards Operations Processing;
- Handle daily End of Day Operations including processing of incoming and outgoing files of visa, master cards, UPIs and POS, and processing of End of Day thread;
- Handle POS Terminal programming, troubleshooting, installation and Merchant Training;
- Manual posting of Visa slip, Credit/debit adjustment and Merchant Reversal instruction;
- Prepare new, replacement, renewal and re-issue of cards;
- Attend to Merchant Cardholder enquiries and complaints;
- Assist in raising reversal/refund entries for any erroneous transaction;
- Assist in Pre-Auth release from Merchant;
- Assist with Monthly Merchant Statement Printing and distributing to each branch;
- Assist with Card and Merchant account link on flexcube system;
- Organise and perform prompt and proper filing of documents;
- Replace other staff as and when required;

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate in Banking, or related field, with at least 2 years work experience in Cards and Payments plus excellent customer service skills; or
- Diploma in Business Studies or other related field, preferably graduates from Seychelles Institute of Technology or fundamentals in Electronics, and IGCSE in Mathematics, plus excellent customer service skills.
