Job Description
Join Cable & Wireless Seychelles as a Legal and Regulatory Officer, supporting the company in meeting its legal, regulatory and compliance obligations. You will provide legal and regulatory advice, draft and review contracts and project documents, support negotiations and dispute resolution, and liaise with external counsel, regulators and internal stakeholders. The role includes monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, reviewing policies, preparing regulatory submissions and reports, and supporting compliance with tariff, spectrum and numbering requirements. You will also help identify and manage legal and regulatory risks, support fraud investigations and ethical conduct, and assist the Chief Legal, Risks and Compliance Officer with board secretarial and related governance duties.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Degree in Law, Business Law, Telecommunications Management or any related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good oral, written and presentation skills, with strategic thinking, planning, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Trustworthiness, discretion, confidentiality and exemplary work ethics.
- A valid driving licence.
Desirable
- Legal experience in the telecommunications sector.
