Job Description

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee loan disbursement and ensure compliance with approved terms.
  • Monitor projects and loan performance, including site visits and reporting.
  • Support customers with repayment challenges and review repayment plans where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate loan records, including collateral and insurance details.
  • Compile the required department’s monthly scheduled reports to support the decision-making process regarding the bank’s lending strategies
  • Process loan applications, conduct due diligence, and liaise with Risk and Compliance.
  • Ensure proper documentation, handle customer queries, and uphold service standards.
  • Verify to ascertain that all financial transactions being applied by the department are in conformity with the relevant local and international laws and regulations governing the bank’s operations
  • Prepare work schedules, assign specific duties and supervise the work of subordinate staff
  • Uphold the bank’s values and culture in the day-to-day deliverables of duties

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance plus 5 years’ relevant working experience
    OR
  • ACCA Level 2 plus 3 years’ post qualifying experience
    OR
  • Advanced Diploma in Business Studies and Accounting plus 5 years relevant working experience

  • Ability to interpret financial reports
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills
