Manager Policy & External Relations
Job Description
The Manager for Policy and External Relations will be responsible for leading the FIU’s policy development and external relations functions. The role provides strategic leadership in the development and implementation of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), Countering Proliferation Financing (CPF), Beneficial Ownership (BO), and related policy frameworks, while strengthening partnerships with domestic, regional, and international stakeholders. The role involves supporting FIU’s and Seychelles’ international obligations, coordinating mutual evaluation and peer review activities, advising senior management on policy and legislative matters, and ensuring the FIU remains aligned with international standards and best practices.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field would be an advantage
- Minimum of five 5 years’ of relevant experience in policy development, international relations, regulatory affairs, or a related field
- Knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF, Beneficial Ownership, and international regulatory frameworks
- Excellent policy development, legal research, and analytical skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
