Job Description
Main mission
Ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of the plant’s mechanical equipment, heavy machinery and vehicles, in order to guarantee their availability, performance and safety, in compliance with the QHSE standards in force.
Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Maintenance of industrial equipment
- Ensure the mechanical maintenance of bagging and mixing lines.
- Diagnose mechanical failures on conveyors, silos, mixers, compressors, pumps, etc.
- Carry out preventive maintenance operations according to the schedule (lubrication, adjustments, checks).
- Participate in maintenance and unloading operations
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the reliability of the installations.
- Maintenance of heavy machinery and vehicles
- Concerning machines and vehicles:
- The locomotive engineer must:
- Perform engine, hydraulic and pneumatic diagnostics.
- Ensure general maintenance: oil changes, filters, brakes, suspension, transmission, cooling.
- Perform or supervise repairs and replacement of parts.
- Guarantee that the machines are compliant before use.
- Management of the mechanical workshop
- Maintain order, cleanliness and safety of the workshop.
- Manage tooling and report renewal needs.
- Monitor spare parts stocks.
- Keep work sheets, intervention reports and maintenance records.
- Security and Compliance
- Strictly enforce the factory’s QHSE procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Report any anomalies that may compromise safety or production.
Job Requirements
Required Skills
- Technical skills
- Excellent mastery of industrial and mobile mechanics.
- Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, transmission and engine systems
- Ability to diagnose quickly and accurately.
- Reading of plans and mechanical diagrams.

Profile
- Education CAP/BEP, Bac Pro or BTS in industrial mechanics, maintenance, electromechanics or equivalent.
- Experience 2 to 5 years in a similar position, ideally in an industrial environment or on heavy machinery.
- Additional advantages
- Knowledge of welding or industrial electricity
- Experience in the cement or building materials industry
Working conditions
- Factory-based position
- Workshop and field work (machinery and equipment)
- Schedules may include on-call duty depending on the needs of the production
