Job Description

Position Summary

The Spa Therapist responsibilities are to provide a range of wellness and beauty treatments designed to relax, rejuvenate, their guests. Promote an overall physical and mental well-being of the guests, aiming to deliver a personalized and high-quality experience, while maintaining a calm and serene environment. Greet and assist guests with queries regarding Spa services and products. Book and manage guest’s spa appointments.

Qualification & Responsibilities:

• Schedule services for guests using spa reservations software system.
• Provide treatments by administering a variety of spa services such as massages (Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, etc.), facials, body wraps, exfoliations, and aromatherapy.
• Conduct initial consultations to assess clients’ needs, preferences, and any specific health concerns before recommending appropriate treatments.
• Ensure that clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for throughout their treatments. This includes providing soothing ambiance, ensuring privacy, and maintaining professional conduct.
• Ensure that all tools, equipment, and workspaces are clean and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history, preferences, and any relevant health information.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns, offering guidance on post-treatment care, and creating a positive and professional rapport with clients.
• Promote and upsell spa services
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Certification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field.
• Knowledge to do manicure and pedicure is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of different massage techniques, facial treatments, and wellness therapies.
• Good understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a calm, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for customer satisfaction.
• Physical stamina to perform hands-on treatments throughout the day.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
