Job Description
Job Summary
- To effectively carry out investigation into consumer services and goods complaints or as assigned.
- Carry out site visits, inspection and engage with experts including stakeholders during investigation
- Search, collect and analyze evidence to finalize investigation into complaints.
- Provide timely update to consumers on the status of complaint lodged.
- To educate and raise public awareness on Consumer rights and responsibilities under the provisions of the Fair Trading Act 2022.
- To testify before the Tribunal and Supreme Court if required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Law, Business or related field OR
- Candidate with an Advanced Diploma in Law or related field plus 2 years relevant work experience
OR - Candidate with a Diploma in Law or related field plus 2 years relevant work experience
Preferable Skills
- Knowledge of the function of the Commission and the relevant laws
- Professional, motivated and confidential, high team spirit, good interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Good analytical, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
CORE WORKING HOURS: 8am to 4pm
