The Fair Trading Commission is looking for a responsible dynamic individual to join its team.

Job Description

Job Summary

• To effectively carry out investigation into consumer services and goods complaints or as assigned.
• Carry out site visits, inspection and engage with experts including stakeholders during investigation
• Search, collect and analyze evidence to finalize investigation into complaints.
• Provide timely update to consumers on the status of complaint lodged.
• To educate and raise public awareness on Consumer rights and responsibilities under the provisions of the Fair Trading Act 2022.
• To testify before the Tribunal and Supreme Court if required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Law, Business or related field OR
• Candidate with an Advanced Diploma in Law or related field plus 2 years relevant work experience
  OR
• Candidate with a Diploma in Law or related field plus 2 years relevant work experience

Preferable Skills

• Knowledge of the function of the Commission and the relevant laws
• Professional, motivated and confidential, high team spirit, good interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Good analytical, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.

CORE WORKING HOURS: 8am to 4pm
