Job Description
Job summary
Assist for the proper operation, maintenance, repair and installation of all security screening equipment including CCTV equipment, all Fire Alarm system, Fire Trucks Electronic and Computer system, Public Address Systems and Visual Aids equipment. Maintain and repair all electronics equipment of the AEMC and SAA in general.
Principal duties and responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
- Implement safety practices and standards in accordance with local instructions or regulations and international regulations.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports.
- Ensure that technical logs are kept up to date.
- Participate in inventory control of spares and equipment.
- Assist with the implementation of operational evaluation and preparation of instructions.
- Participate in the preparation and establishment of planned maintenance programmes for each equipment in the inventory.
- Assist other sections on related technical matters and requirements.
- Assist electrical and electromechanical technicians in the repair of defective equipment.
- Carry out inspection and maintenance.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- SIT or City and Guilds Technician Certificate.
