Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading companies in Seychelles. The Internal Auditor will carry out internal audits in accordance with approved programmes either individually or as a member of a team.

The role involves developing audit plans, conducting risk assessments, perform audit engagements, form opinions on the areas audited, report observations and provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies, as well as performing follow-up on corrective actions and ensure implementation.

The Internal Auditor will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our organisation’s internal control, risk management and governance system.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience

• Professional Qualification in CIA/CISA or CPA/ACCA is required, or bachelor’s degree in auditing, accounting, finance, or a related field, or
• ACCA Applied Skills Level plus Certificate in Internal Audit & Risk and
• At least 5 years’ experience in Internal or External Audit.

Desirable

• 3 years’ experience in telecommunication industry will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose practical solutions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel and audit management software.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
